A Kid’s View: Speak Teens

Hey all! It’s been a minute! We just came back from another summer camp for a week, but this time, with a twist… Speak teens is a summer camp for Italian kids to learn English, where they bring English speakers (Oh! That’s me!!) from around the world to speak English with them. The days were long with us waking up at 7am everyday, and not sleeping until around midnight. The activities were amazing, and the kids and staff were incredible! I have a ton of photos, so I’ll just be quiet now and show you!!!

Kayaking

On one of the days we went to a museum to learn all about water, animals and energy, and learning about the nearby dam. We then went kayaking at the dam. It was amazing and the water was incredible!

Activities

Obviously there were tons of activities. Some of the highlights were the 1-on-1s (talking with the Italian learners), the water Olympics, Scavenger hunt, Tie dye and the final day Talent Show, and I may or may not have tried to bribe the judges with that last one!!
