The ancient city of Hierapolis was very impressive and made even more magical by the white travertines cascading down the hill which gave it the name Pamukkale meaning “cotton castle” in Turkish.

While in Fethiye, we took the ferry over to the Greek island of Rhodes (Rodos) for a weekend. It was spectacular!

We fell in love with Fethiye! This is definitely one of those places that we’ll return to and ticks all the boxes for a place that maybe we would live one day.
