My son’s view on an old castle created in 1935 called Paronella Park.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from Paronella Park, but so many people recommended it that we just had to go there. It didn’t disappoint. What a unique place!
The next leg of our trip was marred with rain. It rained for about 3 weeks straight with only occasional breaks. We stayed in the van most of the time, but we did venture out a couple of times.
My son talks about our trip around the Whitsundays and all the things we did.
We decided to spoil ourselves during this section of the trip for our birthdays. We did a 2-day sailing trip and a wreck dive that we missed last time.
Eungella National Park was recommended to us – a gorgeous gorge walk, a stunning view and platypuses!
The world’s largest sand island – what an amazing place! Time for us to put our 4 wheel drive to the test and see what our Ford Everest is capable of!
Next stop Hervey Bay. On the way we fed dolphins at Tin Can Bay. And using it as our base, we also spent a long weekend at Fraser Island.
