Cooking good meals in a caravan is hard but not impossible. I enjoy cooking!
The Pilbara region is well-known for mining – particularly iron ore. Everywhere you look, you can see tons of red rocks. We spent a couple of weeks exploring this area.
I have been wanting to go to the Bungle Bungles since I first read about it and saw pictures 20 years ago!
The eastern Kimberleys is a beautiful area that encompasses the towns of Kunnanurra and Wyndham among others, and is home to the iconic Gibb River Road and Purnululu (Bungle Bungles).
We spent about a month visiting the Top End including 3 National Parks. It was beautiful, but hot!
Now that we’ve been on the road for nearly 6 months, I thought I would do an assessment of my favourite (and least favourite) Caravan parks that we’ve stayed at.
This post is a merge of where we went just before Cobbold Gorge and the week following Cobbold Gorge.
Cobbold Gorge was one of the spots that wasn’t on our initial list of places to visit, but we heard from so many people how great it was that we decided to go.
